* Why does the app ask for access to the Microphone?

The app needs our free "AudioCast Audio Driver" to send your Mac's audio to TV while mirroring. Once you have the audio driver installed on your Mac, please select "Include System Audio" option in the app. And then, you will see a notification message saying this app is asking for the permission to access Microphone on your Mac.

At this point, please click the "OK" button in that message to allow this request, and the audio would be sent to TV during the mirroring process. To be clear, our app doesn't use your Microphone, but uses the "AudioCast Audio Driver" to capture your system audio, so that it could be streamed to TV. This is why you need to allow this request.

If you have selected "Don't Allow" in the past and the audio isn't sent to TV, you can fix this by following the steps below:

1. Open System Preferences and select "Security & Privacy".

2. Click on the tab "Privacy", select Microphone and make sure the checkbox next to the screen mirroring app is enabled.

3. If you have other questions or problems, please don't hesitate to contact us
