This problem might happen if you quit the app before stop mirroring or the app stopped incorrectly. So to avoid this, please stop current mirroring process by unchecking the the device in the app before quitting the app.

If you accidentally close the app before stop mirroring properly, and cause this problem, you can always fix it by going to System Preferences / Sound, and selecting “internal speakers” as your preferred sound output.
